First Day of School: Thursday, August 8, 2024

EduKits: We have partnered with a school supply kit company to offer a convenient, one-stop, online shopping experience. These lists have been carefully curated to meet classroom needs for each grade level. School supply kits will be shipped to the home address you provide. Copy and color paper reams will be shipped directly to the school. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to WINS to help further support our school.

At this time, the deadline to purchase school supply kits has passed. To access the grade-level specific lists to shop on your own, please click here.

*Please note, school supply donations are not mandatory! The district will supply anything our students need to participate in class. However, our classes greatly benefit from the recommended supplies from our teachers. Anything you can contribute to the education of students at Williams is greatly appreciated.

Volunteer On-Campus

We are excited to have you as a volunteer in the classrooms and on-campus for all our fun events this year. Please remember you must register as a SJUSD volunteer PRIOR to helping on-campus for things like Project Cornerstone, chaperoning field trips, helping in the classroom, copying, hearing/vision screening, and more. We look forward to seeing you on campus.

  • New Volunteers - TB testing and fingerprinting required. Refer to the link below for the process to register as a volunteer.

  • Returning Volunteers - Complete the process. Check with the school office about what the current process is for on-campus volunteering.

Where can we purchase uniforms?

Uniforms must meet the uniform policy requirements, but can be purchased anywhere that sells uniforms (e.g., Target, Children's Place, Amazon). The "Williams Plaid" items can be purchased through Merry Mart or Lands' End (school code #900089020). Williams-branded outerwear and Class Spirit Shirts can also be purchased at our Spirit Shop at the start of the school year.

What shoes can my child wear?

Students are required to wear tennis shoes that are 95% black, white, gray, or navy blue. Sandals, Mary Janes, character shoes, light-up shoes, and shoes with wheels are not permitted. Avoid colored laces as well. For students who do not know how to tie their own shoes yet, our teachers greatly appreciate that you purchase velcro or no-tie shoes for your student.

The above information is provided for reference only. For up-to-date information, please visit Williams Uniform Policy.
